Fitment Confirmation Required (XE10 Master Cylinder Variants)

Because the first-gen Lexus IS / Toyota Altezza (XE10) came with multiple master-cylinder variants, we need a quick visual check before we ship. This lets us pre-set your booster so it's truly bolt-on.

What to do (no hydraulics opened):

  1. With the engine off, remove the two nuts that secure the master cylinder to the booster studs.

  2. Gently pull out the master cylinder—do not disconnect any brake lines, and do not press the brake pedal.

  3. Take 2–4 photos and send them to us

  4. Refit the two nuts tight

Why this matters:
XE10 cars use more than 2 master-cylinder pattern. Your photos let us pre-configure the BCB 8″+9″ booster so it matches your exact unit—no guesswork, no shims on install, no rework.

    Safety notes:
  • Work with the engine off and the car secured.

  • Do not open hydraulic lines; a slight movement is enough for photos.

  • If preferred, any workshop can perform this check in a few minutes.
